From a garbage dump to a national landmark, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow.
From a long-neglected garbage dump to a national landmark, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday highlighted the transformation of over 30 acres of land in Lucknow into the Rashtra Prerna Sthal, a sprawling memorial dedicated to leadership, public service and nation-building.
Inaugurating the complex on the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Modi said the site had remained piled with waste for decades before being completely cleared and redeveloped over the past three years. He congratulated the labourers, planners and the Uttar Pradesh government for turning the area into what he described as a modern centre of national inspiration.
