Kejriwal calls attack on CJI a planned conspiracy

Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday termed the recent attack on Chief Justice of India B R Gavai a “well-planned conspiracy” aimed at silencing the judiciary.

Reacting to a lawyer's attempt to hurl a shoe at the CJI in the Supreme Court on Monday, Kejriwal said the incident was an attack on the independence of the judiciary and an insult to the Dalit community.
