IPL: Mayank Yadav hogs limelight with record-breaking spells

Mayank Yadav has become a topic of discussion across the world due to his record-breaking success in the first two matches of IPL. Virender Sehwag and Delhi's coach Parvinder Awana have advocated for him to play in the T20 World Cup to be held in June, while many former players including Gursharan Singh, have advocated for him to play in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, to be held in Australia this year.
When I saw Mayank bowling in the nets at Rohtak Road Gymkhana in his childhood, he was a different kind of bowler but when he went to Sonnet Club, his bowling was completely transformed. He has given the credit for this to Sonnet's then coach Taraq Sinha in an exclusive interview given to The Daily Guardian. He said in this interview that he had become spiritual in the middle and despite being a complete vegetarian, he did not compromise on the speed.
