Carlo Ancelotti's departure from the Real Madrid camp is official.
The Italian manager is set to join the Brazil National Team and would hope to add an international trophy to his already stacked club trophy cabinet. His second stint with Madrid has been brilliant, winning 2 La Ligas, 2 Champions Leagues, and a Copa Del Rey as well, all in the short span of 4 years. Shortly after his departure, Xabi Alonso's arrival as the next manager was also announced. After a phenomenal performance with Bayern Leverkusen, Xabi Alonso became one of the most sought-after managers in the game. His Leverkusen side won the league double in the 2023/24 season (Bundesliga and DFB Pokal), going unbeaten in both competitions and becoming the first team to go "Invincible" in the league's history. They continued this form across Europe and went 51 games without defeat until the Europa League Final, where they were beaten by Atalanta.
