GETTING OUR PRIORITIES RIGHT

When we give a glass of water to someone who is thirsty, what is their state of mind after drinking the water? Their mind is settled, they feel good, and their vibrations change for the better.

GETTING OUR PRIORITIES RIGHT

Taking care of the mind is a foundational practice for living a meaningful and happy life.

Those vibrations reach us, and that energy gets added to our energy, and we also feel good.

But what happens if we start wanting instead of giving: 'I want this..., I want that...'? The soul's battery gets discharged. This is a spiritual law. It is when we do something for others that we feel good, far more than when we get something.

That is the difference between achieving something and making worthwhile use of the same thing. Earning money is fine, but we feel better when that money is put to good use.

If material achievements could charge the soul's battery, those achieving more worldly success would be powerful souls. But that is not the case. Nor is our happiness directly proportional to such achievements. Instead, it has been observed that people become more stressed as they accumulate more wealth, power, and prestige.
