'Delhi is Not for Sale': Kejriwal urges voters to reject bribes
The Daily Guardian
|January 15, 2025
Declaring "Delhi is Not for Sale," AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal urged citizens to resist vote-buying tactics allegedly employed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Emphasizing that a vote is "more valuable than a diamond," he called on people to reject offers of money, gold chains, and other inducements, accusing the BJP of distributing such items out of desperation.
Kejriwal alleged that BJP leaders have been given large sums of cash and gold chains to buy votes but are pocketing most of it for themselves. Labeling these practices as acts of betrayal against the nation, he encouraged voters to prioritize the future of their children over temporary incentives.
"Your vote shapes the destiny of your children and the country. Vote for anyone you wish, but never for those who try to buy your vote," he appealed.
