The court in the case was launched under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, BNS, which includes section 105 (the culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and the probe is being conducted by the CBI.

Delhi Coaching Centre Deaths: High Court Grants Bail to Four Co-owners of Basement, Asks Them to Deposit Rs 5 Lakh for Deceased Families' Welfare

The Delhi High Court in the case Parvinder Singh v CBI and other cases observed and has granted regular bail to four co-owners of a basement of a coaching centre in city's Old Rajinder Nagar area-Rau's IAS, where three civil services aspirants had died after drowning in July last year.

The bench headed by Justice Sanjeev Narula in the case granted bail to Parvinder Singh, Tajinder Singh, Harvinder Singh and Sarbjit Singh and asked them to deposit an amount of Rs. 5 lakh with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority towards the welfare of the families of the deceased.

The same being after the Court was informed and as directed by the Supreme Court, the accused were willing to make a voluntary donation for an amount of Rs. 5 lakh, in aggregate, in the corpus.
