Cong says not frightened’ to name Amethi, Rae Bareily picks

Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh on Wednesday said that the party was not "intimidated or frightened" and it will announce the candidates for Rae Bareli and Amethi in Uttar Pradesh in the next 24-30 hours.

He said the party's guarantee of 'Shramik Nyay', its commitment to Rs 400 per day national minimum wage is the real 400 paar'.
Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here, Ramesh, "Party will announce candidates for Rae Bareli and Amethi in next 24 to 30 hours."
"In all probability it will be announced by tomorrow evening," he said.
