CMO To Deal Directly With Public Grievances

Grievances can be submitted via phone, WhatsApp, apps, or complaint boxes at SDM, ADM, and sub-registrar offices.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday held a review meeting on public grievance redressal at the Delhi Secretariat at Raisina Hill in New Delhi. Lashing out at the previous government, the CM said that the grievance system was a complete failure during that government's tenure.
The CM however assured that her government was doing extensive 'homework' to make an updated grievance redressal system to solve the problems of the people.
CM said her office will now deal directly with public grievances, a move aimed at ensuring better governance in the national capital.
Complaint boxes will be installed at the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate and sub-registrar offices in the city. Gupta, after a meeting with officials, called for an update of Delhi's public grievance redressal mechanism to make it more effective.
