BJP demands special audit of 1.25 crore SIR entries in Bengal

‘The West Bengal unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday demanded a comprehensive audit of approximately 1.25 crore entries made during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in West Bengal, alleging large-scale irregularities in the enumeration process conducted between November 26 and 28.
Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari led a BJP delegation to the office of Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Kumar Agarwal, submitting a detailed complaint demanding scrutiny of the enumeration forms by central observers specially deputed by the Election Commission of India for West Bengal.
