Bansal who had filed complaint against former ED officer raided

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday conducted a raid at the residence of Vikas Bansal in Sector 16, Panchkula. Bansal had earlier filed a complaint against former ED Assistant Director Vishaldeep, who is accused of demanding bribes from educational institutions involved in the Himachal Pradesh scholarship scam.
The Panchkula Police had registered a case against Vishaldeep based on Vikas Bansal's complaint. According to Bansal, his brother Rajneesh Bansal had also filed a complaint against Vishaldeep, after which the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had registered a case against him under the Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act.
In this case, Rs 1.25 crore was recovered from Vishaldeep's brother Vikasdeep.
