Assam BJP Releases Candidate List for Bodoland Territorial Council Polls

Counting of votes is scheduled for September 26, according to the Assam State Election Commission, which issued the notification on August 26.

Assam State BJP on Sunday announced its candidates for 28 of the 40 constituencies in the upcoming Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections. The BTC polls will be held on September 22 across five districts -- Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Udalguri, and Tamulpur.
