171 riders from 35 countries arrive for Pune Grand Tour

The countdown to the start of the historic Pune Grand Tour 2026, India’s first Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) 2.2 multistage road race, is well underway, as Pune welcomed international teams from across Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Oceania.

The arrival of overseas contingents marks another milestone in the buildup to the Bajaj-sponsored race, scheduled from January 19 to 23, with four stages covering 437 km across the diverse terrain of Pune District.

With 29 teams from 35 countries, Pune Grand Tour has generated widespread international appeal in its first edition.

Reflecting the event’s global character, the following international teams have arrived in Pune to begin preparations, according to a press release.
