REVIEW- 120 BAHADUR
120 Bahadur is a movie full of grit covering a battle India had almost forgotten. It’s a heart-hitting tribute that will fill you with patriotism every second while watching the film. Indian cinema seems to have mastered the art of making a war film that is also full of family emotion, and that despite getting much less screen time. It’s a film that is neither created for applause nor has drama for creating emotional turbulence.
In a quiet and dignified manner, 120 Bahadur brings back a chapter from the Indian Military’s valorous history into the mainstream narrative in contemporary times. It revives the story of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, who received Paramveer Chakra posthumously, for the battle of Rezang La Pass, where a 3000+ strong Chinese army, making them retreat only with a handful of 120 men, who ended up giving their lives for the country.
