The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Friday released its Bihar election manifesto, promising an employment-and-industry drive anchored in skills, women's empowerment and targeted support for Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs), as the state heads to polls on 6 and 11 November.

Unveiling the 'Sankalp Patra' in Patna, BJP president J.P. Nadda joined Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, HAM(S) leader Jitan Ram Manjhi, LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan, RLM's Upendra Kushwaha and other allies. The document pledges “over one crore” government jobs and employment opportunities, a statewide skills census, and mega skill centres in every district to position Bihar as a “Global Skill Training Centre”. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said the NDA would also seek to turn Bihar into an “industrial hub” within five years, with ten new industrial parks and a bid to attract Rs.50 lakh crore in investments.
