Truro City and Helston announce link-up

TRURO City and Helston Athletic have announced a revolutionary link-up which the two clubs hope will give Cornish footballers the best chance of a career in professional football.
The new partnership is aimed at developing young footballers throughout the region and giving them a path to the professional ranks, while Truro's reserve team will also play their South West Peninsula League games at Helston's Kellaway Park ground.
Further announcements on how this partnership will benefit both clubs are expected in the coming weeks, but it is a long time in the making, according to Helston's director of football Steve Massey.
