Competition marks trust’s anniversary

The Cornishman

April 24, 2025

A SMALL charity which cares for some of Cornwall's most important historic places is launching a photography competition to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

The Cornwall Heritage Trust cares for 16 historic sites across the county, from the hilltop site of Caer Bran in the far west to Dupath Well in the east.

They cover a broad spectrum of history, from Neolithic remains such as Tregiffian burial chamber near Penzance to the 19th-century Treffry Viaduct near Luxulyan.

Admission to all the sites in the trust's care is free all year round.
