BUSINESS RESCUE: PROPERTIES SOLD FOR 47% LESS THAN VALUATIONS
Three high-profile Saxonwold properties linked to the controversial Gupta family have finally been sold for a combined R34.5 million, Park Village Auctions confirmed yesterday.
The sale represents a sharp discount – about 47% less than their combined pre-sale valuation of R64.5 million.
The trio of properties, at No 3, 5 and 7 Saxonwold Drive in Sandton, were sold with furniture and appliances. Separately, the buyer also purchased number 7A Saxonwold Drive for R6.5 million.
