The Citizen

Pick 6 carryover likely to yield R3-million pool.

After a chilly winter, spring appears to finally have sprung on the Highveld as the last few days have been nice and warm.
To celebrate the arrival of the warmer weather the first feature race of the new season on the Highveld will be run at Turffontein on Saturday when they race on the inside track.
The Listed Betway Spring Spree Stakes over 1200m should live up to its name as the card will also include the first Pick 6 carryover of the season, with R500,000 kick-starting that bet and provide a pool likely to reach R3-million.
Also run at the meeting is Non-Black Type Betway The Lady's Stakes for fillies and mares over 1200m.
