FEAST: NO EXCUSE TO BE BORED WITH THE SMORGASBORD OF TANTALISING FUN
It's the holidays and soon Boney M, Mariah Carey and Wham will be crooning Christmas tune retreats.
But, there's some great Christmas things to do besides shopping and letting old unfavourite songs fall on deaf ears.
There's everything from circuses and animal parades to neon rollerskating, doughnut decorating, and golf with zootropolis characters.
There is, in fact, no excuse to be bored this festive season.
Sandton City
The Nutcracker's Winter Circus returns for its second season. This time with The Parade of the Animals, a lively new addition to the fairy tale. It runs until 5 January and promises a spectacle for the whole family.
Tickets online at TicketPro or directly from Centre Court, where Santa himself is setting up base with the mall's annual gift-wrapping for Charity stations. Don't miss the Christmas carols. Think candlelight, shopping, rides, artificial snow play, Santa and more. Tickets at the door, R60-R75. Tomorrow, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21 December.
