Israel does not block aid to Gaza

Faizel Patel, like the Global Sumud Flotilla that he is writing about, is spreading blatant misinformation about Israel and the debacle surrounding the flotilla (Free Mandela, says SA, The Citizen, 3 October).
Israel has not stopped humanitarian aid from entering Gaza. In fact, Israel has been instrumental in ensuring aid reaches Gazans, and doesn't merely enrich or arm Hamas a terrorist organisation that perpetrated the mass rape and slaughter of Israeli civilians on 7 October, 2023 and also oppresses the people of Gaza.
