De Klerk set to succeed Sasse at the helm as Growthpoint CEO

Estienne de Klerk will succeed Sasse as Growthpoint group CEO effective from 1 July next year.
He has been part of the growth and leadership team of Growthpoint Properties for almost 20 years, together with Norbert Sasse (both from the Investec stable).
His appointment was confirmed in a Sens announcement yesterday morning by SA's biggest listed property company, which has operations and investments locally and offshore in Australia and Eastern Europe.
In a move to boost its empowerment profile at executive leadership level, Growthpoint has appointed José Snyders as its new group chief financial officer, effective 1 January 2026.
Snyders is currently CEO of Liberty Two Degrees (L2D), the former JSE-listed real estate investment trust that operates Sandton City and other properties and owned by banking giant, Standard Bank Group.
