FLAMES REKINDLED: JOBURG'S ICONIC RESTAURANT GETS A BOLD NEW SOUL
Johannesburg's Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff, long regarded as a beacon of elegance and luxury, is embracing a bold new culinary chapter. Perched on the Witwatersrand Ridge with sweeping views over the city's famous urban forest, the landmark property is not just upgrading its menu, it is redefining the art of dining in the city.
A chef returns home At the heart of this transformation is the appointment of Rudi Liebenberg as executive chef. After a celebrated tenure at Cape Town's Belmond Mount Nelson and a career spanning international hotels and resorts, Liebenberg has returned to lead the entire food and beverage portfolio at The Westcliff.
This includes the hotel's flagship Flames restaurant, banqueting, events and several exciting new outlets set to launch as part of the hotel's redevelopment. "Returning to Johannesburg feels like coming full circle," Liebenberg said.
