United fan raising money singing about kittiwakes

DAVY CRAIG HAS RELEASED A CHARITY SINGLE ON BIRD THAT'S CHOSE TO MAKE TYNESIDE ITS HOME
A NEWCASTLE United fan has turned to songwriting in effort to raise funds for a vital cause close to his heart.
Now he is hoping the exclusive release of a charity single about kittiwakes will raise much needed support for the Newcastle Foodbank.
Davy Craig, who spends his time volunteering for the NUFC Fans Foodbank by collecting donations before every home game, was inspired after seeing a photo of kittiwakes by Newcastle-based Ava Rowell.
Davy said: "I saw a photo of kittiwakes by Ava Rowell and suddenly had the idea to write some lyrics about how they live on the Tyne Bridge and the Baltic Arts Centre (Flour Mill) and what they may have witnessed over the years.
