Tots arrive just in time for special Father's Day

TWO couples have celebrated welcoming bundles of joy on a very special Father's Day weekend at Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary.
The Mallon and Potts families both welcomed a baby on Saturday evening at around 8.30pm - and then spent Father's Day getting to know their adorable new arrivals.
Dale and Alex Mallon were celebrating baby Eleanor - who was born weighing seven pounds and nine ounces. Meanwhile Graeme Potts and wife Kay welcomed baby Alfie George, who weighed in at seven pounds and 15 ounces.
Graeme and Kay, from Kenton, welcomed little Alfie late on Saturday. Graeme said it had been an extra special bonus to get to take him home on Father's Day - where Alfie also met big brother Joshua.
