SOUTH Shields boss Ian Watson called for focus after his side's outstanding display at Chester to claim the National League North Christmas number-one spot ahead of AFC Fylde.

Leaders Fylde went down 1-0 at Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday allowing the Mariners to take full advantage, coming from a goal down to land all three points in Cheshire.
After a goalless first-half, the hosts struck within three minutes of the restart via a Connor Woods penalty. But top scorer Paul Blackett restored parity with a cool finish just before the hour mark after good approach play from Will Jenkins and Cedwyn Scott.
