AFTER decades of promise, it does really seem as if we're on the brink of entering that promised land of really useful and usable smart glasses.
With a couple of new releases to reveal just this week, and the prospect of more to come, the tech might have finally caught up with the ambition to make eyewear that does more than just help your vision.
The two devices we report on this week are different, with different use cases and different features. But they do both have something in common - progress.
Processing power, camera tech, and the all-important battery life might just be entering the zone where these things can now make the dreams come true.
