Nick looks made for life on Tyneside
The Chronicle
|November 01, 2025
IT doesn't take a genius to work out Nick Woltemade is loving life at Newcastle.
-
The £69m club record signing has hit the ground running since his summer move from Stuttgart and already has six goals in 11 appearances.
He is popular on the terraces and he is popular in the dressing room, too, something head coach Eddie Howe has routinely pointed out since his arrival in August.
Fellow German speaker Fabian Schar has been a big help with helping Woltemade settle down but the 23-year-old’s excellent command of English has helped him make friendships elsewhere in the team, too.
