Magpies get the better of Barcelona!

A FOOTBALL match held in aid of three cancer charities saw Newcastle beat Barcelona 4-1. It might not have been a Champions League clash, but the game held just as must significance for those that played.
The Live Forever Cup took place on Saturday at Newcastle Benfield FC's Sam Smith's Park, with over 40 players taking part.
Organised by Iain Chisholm, who is originally from Walker but emigrated to Australia in 2013 and now lives in Brisbane, the event raised money in memory of loved ones who have been impacted by cancer.
It was the second Live Forever Cup to be held, after the first took place in Brisbane in 2021 and the event raised £5,500 for The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and Chicks in Pink - an Australian breast cancer charity.
