Isak should be dropped, says Rooney

ALEXANDER Isak's miserable run of form since leaving Newcastle United has seen football pundits split over how Liverpool boss Arne Slo should handle him.

The Swedish striker has seen his form plummet for both club and country after his £130m move to Anfield. He is yet to score in the Premier League for Liverpool and has also failed to net for Sweden as they look set to crash out of World Cup qualifying.
Isak's latest blank came on Sunday afternoon against Manchester United. The striker started ahead of Hugo Ekitike but was replaced after 72 minutes, having missed a great opportunity in the first half and barely getting into the game.
It has prompted pundits to comment on what has gone wrong with the player, amid Liverpool fans calling for him to be dropped from the starting lineup.
