STAR'S 'LOVE' FOR CLUB AMID SPECULATION
TRAI Hume has pledged his love for Sunderland amid speculation linking the Northern Ireland defender with a move to a Premier League rival following their promotion.
Hume is still coming down from Sunderland's celebrations after their dramatic 2-1 Championship play-off final victory over Sheffield United a fortnight ago, but has seen his name linked with Everton and Wolves in recent days.
The 23-year-old, who joined Sunderland from Linfield in 2022, said he is not paying too much attention to that as he prepares for Northern Ireland's friendly away to Denmark tomorrow and next Tuesday's home fixture against Iceland.
“You always get the speculation in the summer and around the winter period - the clubs are looking at this and they’re looking at that,” Hume said.
