Heed manager calls for run-in to be ‘attacked’

The Heed brought a much-needed end to a lengthy run of poor form last weekend when recent signings Ethan Robson and Tim Akinola both found the net on their home debuts as Dagenham and Redbridge were beaten at the International Stadium.

That has sent Gateshead into tomorrow's visit to Forest Green Rovers on a positive note as Magnay’s men prepare for the first step in what is a challenging run-in to the end of the regular season.

Following their long trip to Gloucestershire, the Heed will host promotion contenders York City on Good Friday lunchtime before making a relatively short trip to Hartlepool United on Easter Monday.
