‘Great’ result as nuisance property gets closure order

A PROPERTY in Gateshead which is linked to drug and knife crime has been served with a closure order.

Northumbria Police officers launched an investigation into the house on Sunderland Road in Felling, which is also connected to antisocial behaviour.
After receiving complaints from members of the public, the Gateshead East Neighbourhood Policing Team began looking into the house, connecting it with a range of crimes. Some of the items with links to the property included a knife with a curved blade and a homemade crossbow.
