THE COUPLE AND FRIEND ADMITTED CLASS A DRUGS SUPPLY OFFENCES

- By ROB KENNEDY

Drug dealers spared jail time

THREE dealers who admitted being involved in the supply of hard drugs have walked free from court.

Ashleigh Weatherstone, Kelly Wilkinson and her partner, former solider John Hunstone, were all involved in dealing the class A drugs, Newcastle Crown Court heard.

It was in January 2021 that police came across Weatherstone and Wilkinson in an Audi car at a petrol station in Bebside, Northumberland.

Cash and drugs were in the car and the pair were arrested.

When their phones were examined, messages showed they were involved in the supply of crack cocaine.

Police went to Hunstone's home in April 2021 and found heroin and crack cocaine, along with scales, cutting agents, £870 and a list of mobile phone numbers.
