Crowds gather to celebrate Kelly's life

'IT GOES TO SHOW HOW MANY PEOPLE LOVED HIM'
AFTER the shocking death of much-loved football coach, hundreds of families turned out at Newcastle East End FC in Walkergate to release balloons in his memory.
Kelly Scott, who with his father Charlie founded the club in 1995, died on November 17.
Two days earlier he had developed a bleed on the brain. He was just 52.
A balloon release was held at the club where he spent every spare minute and hundreds showed up to pay their respects.
Club trustee Paula Edwards told The Chronicle why Kelly had meant so much. She said:
