THOUSANDS are expected to gather in Newcastle city centre this weekend to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Newcastle's Remembrance Sunday Parade will take place this weekend
A military parade and Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, November 9, as Newcastle prepares to pay its respects to all former and active servicemen and women.
The military parade will gather at the Civic Centre and form up on Blackett Street at approximately 10.45am ahead of the Service of Remembrance being held at the City War Memorial at Old Eldon Square.
