SUNDERLAND'S brilliant start to life back in the Premier League is making Jamie Carragher eat his own words after the former Liverpool defender tipped the Black Cats to go down this season.
Fellow pundit Gary Neville was impressed by the Wear-siders' win over West Ham United on the opening day of the season, and Sunderland have gone from strength to strength since then.
Regis Le Bris' side moved up to second in the table after the win over Chelsea on Saturday afternoon. Chemsdine Talbi scored a late winner to secure a memorable win at Stamford Bridge.
Results on Sunday moved the Black Cats down to fourth, but their remarkable start to the season has shown no sign of letting up.
