Bruno is ever ready to prove why he's our perfect leader

WHAT is it with Bruno! Captain Marvel, Superman, complete with streaming cape.
-
Now add Duracell Bunny to his list of nicknames - and Johnny-On-The-Spot. He plays more often than the London Philharmonic - but still gets a tune right at the death.
If a skipper by definition should lead from the front, then Bruno does exactly that. His name is on every team sheet produced by Eddie Howe, whatever the match. He can travel literally all over the world, as he has done recently with Brazil, yet while others wilt, he finds another gear and just keeps on going.
It was the 90th minute, with the fourth official keying in extra time, when Guimaraes came up with United's winner and, boy, did we need it. Only two wins out of eight PL games looked certain to be extended against moderate opposition until sprawling Fulham keeper Bernd Leno pushed out a rasping drive from substitute Will Osula and there was Bruno lurking with intent.
A midfielder, not a forward, scored his third goal of the season and only United's ninth in nine league fixtures.
Where the likes of Anthony Gordon, Harvey Barnes, Sandro Tonali, Joelinton and a clutch of towering defenders on set-pieces have constantly failed to hit the rigging (or at least the correct side of it) Bruno has done so against Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and now Fulham.
