Baggage buses are all set to store and transport runners' belongings

WITH 60,000 people taking part in the Great North Run, organisers are out to make life as easy as possible when it comes to their arrival and departure from the event to ensure that they can just focus on enjoying the day which, as previously reported, is set to bring crowds of supporters to the region on September 7.

Dealing with their belongings is just one task they have well in hand.

The Great North Run has baggage buses - and plenty of them - for storage and these transport runners’ belongings from Newcastle to the South Shields finish line. As reported, runners’ hubs at the run start - which were introduced for the first time last year; positioned on the Town Moor and the other on Claremont Road - provide access to the baggage buses.
