Victory means home advantage for Seals
The Chester Chronicle
|April 24, 2025
GOALS from Harrison Burke and Iwan Murray were enough to secure all three points for the Blues at home to Marine.
Burke opened the scoring with a header, before Murray lobbed Max Metcalfe mid-way through the second-half to earn a two-goal cushion.
The Mariners pulled one back late on through Fin Sinclair-Smith who smashed past Jimmy Storer but the Seals held on to clinch a home play off fixture, after Saturday's safety.
Chester took the lead with the first chance of the contest as Burke rose the highest at the back post to latch on to a floated Declan Weeks delivery.
