Record number of golfers tee-off for charity day

A RECORD number of golfers played in cerebral palsy charity Stick 'n' Step's annual golf day.
-
A total of 160 golfers took part in the event held at Pryors Hayes Golf Club near Chester, with players coming from all across the UK.
The event was followed by an evening of entertainment and an auction to boost fundraising for Runcorn charity Stick 'n' Step even further, with a total of over £24,000 raised.
Sporting stars taking part in this year's golf day included football legends Robbie Fowler, Jason McAteer and Joe Parkinson.
Sky Sports commentator Rob Palmer organised the day once more in his role as Stick 'n' Step's ambassador.
