Home advantage in play-off eliminator

That much is certain after Calum McIntyre's side cemented their play-off place while confirming they will finish fourth in the table with a game still to play.

The tricky part is knowing who they will face at what is sure to be a packed arena, with no fewer than six possible opponents.

Fourth place plays seventh and any one of King's Lynn Town, Chorley, Hereford, Curzon Ashton, Buxton and outsiders Spennymoor Town could end up in that position to face McIntyre's side.

The Blues travel to play one of those potential opponents, Kings Lynn, on Saturday, for their last game of the regular season.

A win in 'Eliminator B' would set up an away semi-final on Sunday May 4 at either Kidderminster Harriers, Brackley Town or Scunthorpe United. One of those three will be automatically promoted as champions on Saturday and whoever finishes third will host McIntyre's men. The promotion final would be on either Saturday or Sunday May 17/18.

"I'm just so proud of the players," said McIntyre, whose team finished third two years ago and lost their play-off semi-final at home to Brackley.

"We've got 84 points in 45 games, a home play-off and this place will be rocking on the night won't it.
