THE Lord Mayor of Chester has awarded the Honorary Freedom of Cheshire West and Chester Borough to two separate units within Cheshire.

The honour was given to 22 Multi-Role Medical Regiment of the British Army and Merseyside Wing of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets.
