BOOST the Budget 2025/26 will go a long way to helping out Chester FC's next bid to reach the National League.

The Blues have confirmed the scheme is back underway as the annual fundraising event takes shape with the usual £100,000 the target this year.

The club hope to smash that figure and a club statement said: “Thanks to your continuing direct debit pledges from the previous season, we are already beyond the £75,000 mark in search of our biggest ever target as we look to hit a stretched target of £125,000 for the first time ever.

“The initial total is just continuing pledges - with our next update coming on Tuesday as we move to two totals per week for the remainder of BTB!
