Nigeria's Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, has disclosed that the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has extended more than $50 billion in financing support to Nigeria over the years.

Speaking at the 32nd Afreximbank Annual Meetings held in Abuja, Edun underscored the bank's critical role in the country's economic development, particularly in funding strategic national projects and private sector growth.

"Afreximbank's development financing to Nigeria has exceeded $50 billion," Edun said, highlighting key infrastructure and healthcare projects funded by the institution.
