Zero FIR filed against Choreographer Jani master for alleged sexual assault

A zero FIR has been Azer lodged against renowned choreographer Shaik Jani Basa, widely known as Jani Master, following grave allegations of sexual assault made by a 21-year-old female choreographer.

The complaint, which has garnered significant attention, accuses Jani Master of repeated sexual abuse and harassment, leading to his booking under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
According to the FIR filed, the woman alleged that Jani Master sexually abused her on several occasions during her tenure as an assistant choreographer in his team.
The complaint details an incident that occurred in 2019, when she joined Jani Master's team. She explained that due to the unavailability of travel tickets and accommodation for her mother, she traveled alone with Jani Master and two other male assistants for a project in Mumbai. During their stay at a Mumbai hotel, she claims that Jani Master sexually assaulted her. The complaint further alleges that Jani Master threatened her with dismissal if she reported the assault, causing her to remain silent about the abuse.
