According to health experts, adults require about 90 mcg per day for women and 120 mcg for men.
Vitamin K isn’t a single compound but a family of related molecules. The two main forms are:
Vitamin K1 (Phylloquinone): Found mostly in green leafy vegetables, this is the primary dietary source.
