Union Minister Criticizes TMC, Says Govt Without Peace Can't Stay in Power

Violence erupted in Murshidabad, West Bengal, during protests against the Waqf (Amendment) Act, drawing sharp reactions from political leaders and authorities.
The violent clashes, which occurred on April 11, led to the deaths of three people, injuries to several others, and widespread damage to property.
The protests and the subsequent violence have led to mass displacement, with many families fleeing to Jharkhand's Pakur district, while others sought refuge in relief camps in Malda.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia expressed strong disapproval of the violence, asserting that any state government unable to ensure peace does not deserve to remain in power.
Speaking to reporters in Indore, Scindia said, "A state government which cannot ensure peace in the state does not have the right to stay in power."
His statement emphasized the seriousness of the unrest and the responsibility of the state government to maintain law and order.
Scindia's remarks underscored the growing concerns over the state's ability to prevent such disturbances.
