TCS upskills over 350,000 employees in generative AI

Tata Consultancy Serest IT services company, has announced a significant milestone in its AI training initiative, revealing that it has successfully trained 3.5 lakh employees in generative AI skills.

This achievement comes on the heels of an earlier announcement in January when TCS disclosed that 1.5 lakh employees had been trained in these critical skill sets, marking a substantial increase that now encompasses over half of its total employee base.
According to an official statement, TCS aims to build one of the largest AI-ready workforces globally with its extensive training program, positioning itself as a leader in the AI space. The company's commitment to upskilling its workforce reflects its strategic focus on harnessing emerging technologies to drive innovation and address evolving client needs.
In 2023, TCS made history by establishing the first dedicated business unit for AI and cloud services, recognizing the growing demand for cloud and AI solutions among its clientele. This move demonstrated TCS's proactive approach to staying ahead of industry trends and catering to the digital transformation needs of its customers.
