The Supreme Court in the case Arvind Kejriwal vs Piyush M Patel observed and has dismissed the petition filed by former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wherein challenging the criminal defamation case filed by the Gujarat University Registrar against him over his remarks about the educational degree of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Arvind Kejriwal approached the Supreme Court challenging the order of Gujarat High Court, wherein the court dismissed the petition filed by him challenging the summons issued in the defamation case.
The bench comprising of Justice Hrishikesh Roy and Justice SVN Bhatti was hearing the present matter.
